User Data Deletion Instructions

This page outlines how you can request the deletion of any data collected or processed by our Facebook-integrated application, FontSherlock (the “App”).

How to Request Deletion of Your Data

  1. Via Facebook’s Data Deletion Callback
    If you are using our App through Facebook (for example, as a Facebook Page Admin), you can submit a data deletion request directly through Facebook’s interface:
    • Go to your Facebook profile’s Settings & Privacy.
    • Look for Apps and Websites.
    • Find FontSherlock and follow the instructions to remove or delete data associated with this App.
    • Facebook will send us a data deletion request, and we will process and permanently delete your data from our servers as required.
  2. Contact Us Directly
    If you cannot process your request through Facebook, or if you have additional concerns or questions about the data we hold, you may contact us directly:

    • Body: Please provide any relevant details (e.g., your Facebook Page ID or the account in question) so we can locate and delete your data efficiently.

What Happens After You Submit a Request?

  • Confirmation: We will acknowledge your request within a reasonable timeframe (usually within 48-72 hours).
  • Verification: We may need to verify your identity and/or confirm your ownership of the Facebook account or Page ID before proceeding with deletion.
  • Deletion: Once verified, we will remove any personal data associated with your usage of our App from our databases and logs, except for data we are required or entitled to retain for legal or compliance purposes.
  • Completion Notification: We will notify you once the deletion process is completed, typically via the email you used to submit the request or through a Facebook notification.

Data We May Delete Upon Request

  • Your Profile or Page Information
    • Basic identifiers: Page ID, user ID, etc. used to authenticate and provide autopost/auto-reply features.
  • Message Logs
    • Any autopost, auto-reply, or chat logs associated with your Page(s), if stored by us for troubleshooting or analytics.
  • AI-Generated Content
    • Any AI-generated text that was saved or cached on our servers for debugging or service improvement.

Retention Exceptions

We may retain certain information if it is necessary for:

  • Legal or Regulatory Compliance: We may keep records required by law (e.g., tax, audit, or compliance data).
  • Security and Fraud Prevention: Data needed to detect or prevent malicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Internal Backups: Temporary backups that are maintained for disaster recovery. We will securely erase such data according to our backup retention schedules.
