In 1975, French singer-songwriter Anne Sylvestre (1934–2020) met illustrator Pef (Pierre Élie Ferrier, b. 1939). Together, they started a series of records with songs for children. One branch is named Chansons pour (“Songs for”), the other one is about La Petite Josette.
